This guide explains how to integrate Assertiv with ZOHO using SAML. When this setup is complete, users will be able to log into ZOHO using their Assertiv account.

Setup Assertiv
Log into your Assertiv Organization (https://<your-org>.assertiv.com) as an Admin user and select the Manage Apps dashboard tile.
Creating the App
Select the plus ( ) or the create app (
) button to create a new App config.
Search for the ZOHO application and select the ZOHO icon.
Configuring the App
You will be prompted for some basic information on the following page.
Signing Certificate: The certificate is used to create a trust between Assertiv and your ZOHO account. For advanced users, if you have created a certificate you wish to use, select it here. Otherwise (or if you are unsure) you can select "-- Generate New Signing Certificate --".
ZOHO Service Name: This is the name of the application as you would like it to appear in Assertiv. Make this a descriptive name that your users will understand. E.g "ZOHO".
ACS URL: This can be found from your respective ZOHO service or can be attained by loading in the metadata, then save. Keep this tab open as you will use this information in the following configuration.
ZOHO Setup (Generic)
Find the SAML based custom authentication section. Each ZOHO service will look a little different.
Enable SSO
ZOHO Configuration
Copy the Sign-in URL from the Assertiv application and download the Public Signing Certificate for the following section.
Sign-In URL: From the Assertiv configuration page labeled “SAML Sign-in URL”.
Logout URL: Is optional but could be configured with the following where <tenantName> replaces your organization name:
https://<tenantName>.assertiv.com/sign-out
Change Password URL: Changing password is optional but it could https://<tenantName>.assertiv.com/forgot where <tenantName> replaces your organisation name.
Verification Certificate: Is the Public Signing Certificate found on the Assertiv configuration page.
Click Save.
ZOHO Configuration Notes
Cant find the SAML configuration on ZOHO for your app ?
- Utilise the Accounts service to authenticate uses then select the ZOHO service to connect to after the user has been logged on.
- Using step one you can also point it to ZOHO One. This has all the applications on a dashboard format.
Just in Time Provisioning?
Yes, it is configured utilise the following for any of the dropdown options:
First Name: firstName
Last Name: lastName
Display Name: displayName
Configure Roles
For your users to access ZOHO from their Assertiv apps page, you must set up a role, assign users to the role, and give that role permission to access the ZOHO application.
