This guide explains how to integrate Assertiv with Automox using SAML. When this setup is complete, users will be able to log into Automox using their Assertiv account.

Log into your Assertiv Organization (https://<your-org>.assertiv.com) as an Admin user and select the Manage Apps dashboard tile.
Creating the app
Select the plus ( ) or the create app ( ) button to create a new App config.
Search for the Automox application and select the Automox icon.
Creating the endpoint
You will be prompted for some basic information on the following page.
Signing Certificate: The certificate is used to create a trust between Assertiv and your Automox account. For advanced users, if you have created a certificate you wish to use, select it here. Otherwise (or if you are unsure) you can select "-- Generate New Signing Certificate --".
Automox Service Name: This is the name of the application as you would like it to appear in Assertiv. Make this a descriptive name that your users will understand. E.g "Automox Administration".
Click the save button. Keep this tab open as we will use this information in the following configuration.

Login to https://console.automox.com/
Browse through Settings, Security and enable SAML.
Complete the following steps:
- Copy the SAML Login URL from Assertiv into the Login URL on Autmox.
- Copy the Entity ID from Assertiv into the Entity ID for Automox.
- Copy the Public Signing Certificate into the field for x509 on Automox.
Entity ID: From the Assertiv configuration page labelled “Identity Provider Issuer…”
X509: is the Public Signing Certificate found on the Assertiv configuration page
Login URL: From the Assertiv configuration page labelledX “SAML Login URL…”
Logout URL: Is optional but could be configured with the following were <orgName> replaces your organization name:
Provision New Users: If the user from Assertiv accessing Automox does not exist in Automox, they will be created automatically.
Copy the numbers at the end of the Automox ACS URL and put that in the “Automox ACS URL” in the Assertiv configuration and save.
For your users to access Automox from their Assertiv apps page, you must set up a role, assign users to the role, and give that role permission to access the Automox application.
