To increase security when using Assertiv, multi-factor authentication can be enabled on any user account. Multi-factor authentication (MFA) means that when a user logs in they will be prompted for both a username and password (something you know), as well as a software token (something you have), also known as a Time-Based One Time Password (TOTP).
Popular TOTP clients are:
- Google Authenticator for Android
- Google Authenticator for iOS
- LastPass Authenticator (for iOS and Android)
