During a multi-factor authentication login, users have the ability to 'remember' a device. This allows subsequent logins from that device to bypass the second factor of authentication. This means the next time that user logs in to Assertiv from that device, they will only be prompted for a username and password.
At any time, a user can view the list of devices that they have remembered, and optionally 'forget' these.
To forget a device, access the My Profile > Authentication section of Assertiv (My Profile is accessed from the menu on the top-right of screen). This will take you to a page which contains the Remembered Devices list.
To remove a device from the list, simply check the box next to the device row and select Forget Devices.
Next time your user account authenticates from that device, a second-factor software token prompt will occur.
